Kristy Schaeffer completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Human Movement Science at Southern Cross University in 2003 and was admitted as a legal practitioner in Queensland in 2004.
Kristy worked as a graduate solicitor with Delaney & Delaney Solicitors between 2004 and 2007 before broadening her experience with in-house legal roles at Queensland Health and Queensland University of Technology.
Kristy returned to Delaney & Delaney as a Senior Solicitor in 2017 and predominantly practises in the areas of Wills & Estates, including all aspects of Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Estate Litigation.
Kristy also has extensive experience in contract drafting and negotiation, intellectual property, technology and privacy law. Kristy is passionate about her work and her clients. She understands that the human factor in any situation is just as important as the legal issues and practises law in a way which demonstrates compassion, diligence, and honesty.
